RESEARCH dates
LOCATION: YOGYAKARTA, Indonesian

BY: FYAN WIWIET

First I had no idea whether these dates can grow plants in this area, because I provide a planting medium Merapi volcanic ash littering the place of boarding, then a fad that has been planting seeds of dates, the rest of my meal. and for 1 month of growing shoots better in the media Merapi volcanic ash than in normal soil planting medium.

tools and materials:
date palm seeds (eat remaining dates)
Merapi volcanic ash
shade plants
soil + manure (1:1)
polybag

Method of planting:
experiment 1
seeds planted in soil and manure media (without shade)
experiment 2
beans grown in volcanic ash media + home + land given shade
experiment 3
beans grown in volcanic media without shade

of trial and error results of my research, it is best the second experiment, shoots grow taller but equally well compared with the experiment to 3 shoots grow although not as high as the second trial
but the experiment 1 (soil + fertilizer planting medium) did not give any response until now
conclusion: Merapi volcanic ash there are many minerals that are good for plants.
